The boil-water advisory at the Douglas will be lifted today at 4:00 p.m.

Why only at 4 p.m.? Because throughout the day, we will undertake a number of necessary measures to restore the drinking water, including cleaning drinking fountains and coffee makers and flushing out all water distribution points, to name just a few. This procedure takes time.

You may therefore resume your regular water consumption activities as of 4:00 p.m.
