Douglas Institute researchers and students took part in the Eureka! Festival, which was held at the Quays of the Old Port of Montréal on June 14-16. They held a booth on the topic of "Brain Behaviour Revealed."

For the first time this year, Joseph Rochford, PhD, Director of Academic Affairs at the Douglas Institute, and his students hosted a booth for the entire festival. They were exploring the behaviour of the brain with activities for children and adults. The highlight for visitors was without doubt the chance to see a real human brain up close.

"It was a fantastic experience to take part in an activity with the general public," said Joseph Rochford. For him, events like the Eureka! Festival are a rare opportunity to showcase mental health research for science lovers of all ages.

For its third edition, this major sci-tech fest showcased hundreds of exhibitors and proposed many activities.
