Nurse clinician Liette Desjardins was recently honoured by Agence Science Presse, which selected her blog “Soigner entre les lignes” as a top French-language science blog. Her post entitled “One moment please, un moment S.V.P. ” describes the stressful situations facing health care teams. This text indeed convinced the jury of the relevance of a blog on mental health issues.

The 2013 anthology of science blogs by Agence Science Presse includes postings published between November 1, 2011 and October 31, 2012. Nearly 100 bloggers entered 173 submissions. Out of this number, 80 were selected to appear in the anthology, which will be collected in a book and released in April 2013.

“Soigner entre les lignes” is one of five active blogs at the Douglas Institute. Since its creation in 2006, the Douglas blogosphere has aimed to demystify mental illness and promote knowledge sharing in mental health.
