We regret to announce the passing of Joyce Boillat, MD, on January 20, at the age of 85.

Dr. Boillat, family doctor and theologian, left the Douglas in September 1993 after a career that spanned all positions of responsibility. She headed each clinical program before becoming Director of Professional and Hospital Services. In 1988, she went from DPHS to Executive Director, becoming the first executive director of a hospital in Quebec.

Visitations were held at Maison Darche, located at 7679 Tashereau Blvd. in Brossard, on Friday, January 25 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., as well as on Saturday, January 26, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

A service was held at Église évangélique du Semeur, on Saturday, January 26, at 11:30 a.m. The church is located at 2000 chemin St-Jean in La Prairie (450-659-6276).
