Research Day Awards - 3rd Prize : Francine O. James
Wilder-Penfield Award : Rémi Quirion O.C. PhD C.Q. FRSC
This is the highest award for biomedical research, given by the Government of Quebec, which "goes to scientists whose research aims fall within the field of biomedicine. These fields include the medical sciences, the natural sciences, and engineering".

Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) : Ashok Malla MD, FRCPC
Ashok Malla is awarded a Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Early phases of non-affective psychosis.
CCNP Young Investigator Award : Gustavo Turecki MD, PhD
The Young Investigator Award is designed to recognize outstanding contributions in the field of research in neuropsychopharmacology by a young basic scientist or clinical investigator in Canada.
Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Québec : Rémi Quirion O.C. PhD C.Q. FRSC
The National Order of Quebec is the highest recognition given by the government of Quebec.
CIHR Institute of Aging Investigator Award : Judes Poirier PhD, C.Q.
CIHR established the Institute of Aging "to support research, to promote healthy aging and to address causes, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, support systems, and palliation for a wide range of conditions associated with aging.
Heinz Lehmann Award : Alain Brunet PhD
The Heinz Lehmann Award is designed to recognize outstanding contributions in the field of research in neuropsychopharmacology in Canada.
High-performing researcher : Ellen Corin
She is nominated "high-performing researcher" by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council.
