Visitors to the Douglas Web site can now receive alerts and stay on top of the latest news published on the site.

To subscribe to the alerts and/or the newsletter, simply register using your e-mail address. There are a number of ways to do this:

• Click on the “Subscribe” button on the Home page
• Click on the ! icon on the right-hand side of all of the site’s pages (except the Home page)
• Enter your e-mail address directly into the Subscribe box on the News page or on the News Room page at the top of the screen.

Alerts are sent via e-mail every Friday morning, and people who subscribe can choose from among the Web site’s nine key sections:

• The Douglas (mission, mandate, structure, logos)
• Care and Support Services (access and contact info for the hospital’s clinical services)
• Research (researcher profiles, groups and laboratories, Brain Bank)
• Teaching and Training (continuing education, internships, Mini Psych School)
• Mental Health Info (information on various mental illnesses, treatments and issues)
• Jobs and Recruitment (online job offers)
• Documentation Centre (publications produced by the Douglas)
• News (news and events)
• Audio and Video (Mini-Psych School, researcher interviews)

Web site visitors can also subscribe to the Douglas newsletter and be among the first to receive the new publication. The newsletter will feature information on the key stories and events happening at the Douglas.

Last year’s revamping of the site also made it possible for the most avid Web users to subscribe to the nine sections noted above via an RSS feed aggregator.
