Lectures organized by the Continuing Medical Education team are accredited and are open to psychiatrists, physicians, dentists, pharmacists, residents, students and health partners. They allow participants to talk directly with various professionals and experts in mental health.
Please consult the calendar of events to the right to get all the details about the different lectures.
Throughout the year, the Douglas Institute offers three lecture series:
"Academic Affairs" Reading Clubs
These reading clubs are geared towards psychiatrists, physicians, dentists, pharmacists, researchers, residents and students and are based on a simple formula: a scientific article is chosen and presented by a Douglas resident. The resident also chooses a commentator, who may be his or her rotation supervisor. Reading clubs allow residents to talk about different mental health topics and are part of their study program.
