Circadian Rhythms: what are they and how do they influence sleep and fatigue ?

The lab employs experimental techniques including in vivo remote monitoring of changes in core body temperature and food intake.

All laboratory projects require and utilize a multidisciplinary approach, ranging from behavioral models to cellular events, involving the latest technology.

Directed by Sylvain Williams, PhD, the lab is interested in two brain structures – the hippocampus and the septum – which interact closely in order to generate critical aspects of learning and memory.

The MGSS is made up of independent investigators, research associates, graduate PhD and MSc level students, and research collaborators.

Directed by Véronique Bohbot, PhD, the laboratory focuses on the multiple brain areas involved in processing episodic memories (spatio-temporal information) during navigation.
