More than a thousand people walk for mental health
2013-10-21
More than a thousand people took part in the fifth edition of Montreal Walks for Mental Health. The event was held on Sunday, October 20. Along with the Douglas Institute were 10 other organizations, including la Fondation des maladies mentales, AMI-Québec and Revivre. This year, Shea Emry from the Montreal Alouettes, and actress Véronique Bannon acted as spokespersons and gave testimonials preceding the walk.
The 5KM walk took place in downtown Montréal and many people from the Douglas, including our CEO Lynne McVey and several patients, were there to share the great moment.
