Project ECHO

Project ECHO

Mission

The Institute received the mandate from the Québec Ministry of Health and Social Services to coordinate ECHO programs in mental health, addiction, and homelessness across Québec. As a recognized ECHO Superhub, the Institute is authorized to deliver training on the ECHO model to promote the development of ECHO programs around the world.

What is an ECHO program?

An ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) program is a remote training method, open to all employees in the health network that centers on real, anonymized clinical case discussions. The ECHO model is based on the “All Teach, All learn” approach.
