Adult Psychiatry

Adult psychiatry consists of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. These services play a key role in the Institute’s academic mission by engaging in research initiatives that contribute to the development of new knowledge and practices. They also support the Institute’s teaching activities by offering internships and workshops.

Inpatient Unit

An inpatient unit is a structured care setting that provides stabilization, close monitoring, treatment, and prepares patients for a safe transition back to their home or to another appropriate service.
