Depressive Disorders and Suicidal Ideation Outpatient Clinic 

The clinic offers services to adults aged 18 and older with short- to medium-term depressive disorders or suicidal ideation of varying intensity. The goal is to stabilize the individual, improve their quality of life, and promote their autonomy. The clinic serves people within its catchment area covered by the RLS (local health network) du Sud-Ouest-Verdun and the RLS de Dorval-Lachine-LaSalle.  

Access to services requires a referral from the CLSC’s Adult Mental Health Access Mechanism (MASMA) team or another psychiatric service within the CIUSSS de-l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.

Services include:

  • Assessments  
  • Symptom stabilization  
  • Mental health education (with a focus on medication and substance abuse) 
  • Pharmacotherapy 
  • Psychosocial counselling 
  • Individual and group therapy  

The team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and occupational therapists.
