The day hospital offers specialized services to Québec residents aged 18 and over with severe eating disorders requiring intensive follow-up, but not overnight supervision. It is intended for people transitioning from inpatient care or to avoid hospitalization and treats not only eating disorders, but also the associated psychological and behavioural difficulties. Its aim is to stabilize the person’s condition and improve their quality of life, while promoting their autonomy. The intensive treatment is delivered in a welcoming, structured, and therapeutic environment.
