Intellectual Disability and Psychiatric Comorbidity Outpatient Clinic 

The outpatient clinic offers psychiatric consultation and follow-up services for adults aged 18 and over with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, along with psychiatric comorbidity or severe behavioural disorders. 

Access to services requires a referral from the CLSC’s Adult Mental Health Access Mechanism (MASMA) team or another psychiatric service within the CIUSSS de-l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.  

Services include:

  • Assessments
  • Mental health education   
  • Psychosocial counselling
  • Community support services
  • Treatment completion and discharge planning

The team consists of psychiatrists, psychoeducators, nurses, social workers, and education specialists.
