Our Clinical and Research Teams Shine at the 2025 Prix Hippocrate Gala

The 2025 edition of the Prix Hippocrate gala was held on Thursday, October 16. It is fair to say that the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal truly stood out, with three projects selected as finalists among the 167 projects submitted. These awards showcase innovative initiatives that are helping to build a more humane and efficient healthcare network.

Our teams won the Prix Hippocrate in the Emerging Technological Innovations category for the project entitled “Validating the benefits of using the TAKECARE remote monitoring platform adapted for individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis”.

The team from the PEPP-Montréal and the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, in collaboration with Greybox Solutions, and with the support of the Mental Health and Addiction Programs Directorate and the Douglas Research Centre, have developed an innovative approach aimed at transforming mental health care.

The project relies on measurement-based care enabled by the TAKECARE platform, providing a more dynamic and personalized follow-up for individuals who have had a first episode of psychosis.

This initiative is a perfect example of collaboration between research, clinical practice and the private sector, as well as innovation at the service of improving mental health.
